The messages that matter, right where you'll see them.
Maggie is a small screen for your fridge. Messages from the people you love show up there, whether they live down the hall or across the country. The weather and your reminders come along for free.
Why it matters ↓
The things that matter keep getting buried.
The “I’m proud of you” you wish wouldn’t scroll away.
Your kids have places of their own now. The words that matter, “I’m proud of you,” “I miss you,” or those gentle reminders today land between a delivery notice and a group chat, if they land at all. They deserve a place to stay and really be noticed.
The person you worry about.
An older parent. A struggling sibling or friend. They live on their own, and you can’t be there every day. Now you, and everyone who loves them, can send a message right to their fridge, a small, steady sign that someone is thinking of them.
The reminders you keep sending yourself.
A text to yourself. An email to yourself. A sticky note somewhere. The reminder ends up in four places, and you still miss it. Send it to your fridge instead, and it stays in rotation for up to two weeks.
Your phone is built to show you the newest thing. Maggie is built to show the persistent thing.
The fridge door is where we’ve always put what we want to keep: the “I love you,” the “proud of you,” and yes, the “dinner’s at six.”
Put it where you'll actually see it.
Maggie lives on your refrigerator, the one spot you pass a dozen times a day. A message sent to your Maggie shows up on the screen, with no app to open and no notification to swipe away. It's the opposite of a pile.
Maggie is available in four unusual, eye-pleasing colors. Includes a built-in kick-stand for desk use.
Made for a family or a tight-knit group, wherever everyone lives.
- 1
Choose your group size.
Maggies are sold by the group, so you order as many as your family needs: a 2-pack, a 4-pack, even a 9-pack. One for your kitchen, one for each of your grown kids' kitchens, one for your mother's. (You can buy just one, but there's a discount when you buy by the group.)
- 2
Each one arrives ready.
Every Maggie ships to its own home, already connected to the rest of your family. Setup takes a few minutes: plug in, connect to Wi-Fi, done. Not the tech person in your family? Someone else can set it up and change Maggie's settings for you, from anywhere.
- 3
Send a note from anywhere.
Use any phone, tablet or computer. There's nothing to download. Send one note to everyone in your group, or to just one house.
- 4
Walk into the kitchen.
There's the message. The weather and your reminders are there too.
The original Maggie™.
There will be imitators. Only the original is designed and assembled in the USA, and only the original connects to other Maggies. There's only one Maggie authorized network, and only original Maggie units can connect to it.
Nothing in between.
No ads. No data selling. No AI deciding what you see. Maggie shows what you and your people send, plus the weather and your reminders. That's all she does today, and we like it that way.
Easy on the budget.
Equipping your whole family costs about what one nice dinner out would. After that, the monthly fee is less than a single family streaming subscription.
Launch status.
We're building the first units by hand in Chicago and refining them before they go out. People on the list hear first, and along the way we'll send updates on all things slow-tech and rediscovering how we can connect as humans. We're testing the hardware this fall, and expect Maggie to be available in spring or early summer 2027.

Why I made Maggie.
A note from our founder, on growing up with electronics, raising three daughters, and giving electronic messages a do-over.

When will Maggie be ready?
We're hand-building the first units now. Join the list and you'll hear first.
How much does each Maggie cost?
Equipping your whole family costs about the same as a nice dinner. After that, the monthly fee is less than a single family streaming subscription. We're trying to make Maggie as affordable as we can. One thing that makes us different: Maggie is one of the few electronics products designed and assembled in the United States (some components come from global suppliers we can't avoid). That costs more, but it supports jobs at home and makes a better product. We'll share pricing soon. Sign up to be the first to hear pricing and reserve your unit.
Can I buy just one?
Yes. But Maggies are made to be shared, and there's a discount when you buy by the group. Order as many as your family needs, from a 2-pack up to a 9-pack and beyond.
Do I need to download an app?
No. You send messages from any phone, tablet or computer, right in your web browser. If you like having an icon on your home screen, you can add Maggie to it from your browser's share or menu button.
Who can send messages to my Maggie?
Your family, who are connected from the day their Maggies arrive. You choose whether anyone outside your family can send messages too.
Is my information private?
Nobody sees your messages except you and the people in your family. We never sell data, and there are no ads.
Does Maggie use AI?
Not today. Maggie shows what you and your people send, plus the weather and your reminders. If that ever changes, we’ll tell you first.
Is Maggie a safety or medical alert device?
No. Maggie shows messages from the people you choose. People can acknowledge the message but only if they want to, and she isn't an emergency service. If you're worried about someone's safety, contact them or local emergency services directly.
Will there be ads?
No. There are plenty of screens with ads in our lives already. We're not adding one. The only things on your Maggie are messages from you and the people you authorize, plus the weather and your reminders.
Why is there a monthly fee as well?
Behind the screen is a service that has to run all day, every day. The fee pays for that. We will never sell your data or design algorithms to steal your attention in order to fund our operation.
Is the fee different for one person?
Yes. A single-person Maggie costs less each month than a family group, and a family group costs the same however many people are in it. We'll share details at launch.
What colors are available?
Fun ones: Apricot, Matcha, Lilac and Bluestone.
My parent would love this but isn't comfortable with technology.
That's what the designated setter-upper is for. You, or whoever in the family is comfortable with it, can set up and change Maggie's settings from anywhere.
What will you send me by email?
Updates on all things slow-tech and rediscovering how we can connect as humans. Also occasional updates on Maggie the product. You can unsubscribe anytime.
